JoAnne Foglia, Activities Director

JoAnne came to Monmouth Crossing in 2022. She received a B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation from St. Joseph’s College. Shortly after she completed an MBA in Healthcare Management. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification since 2016. With a strong background in therapeutic recreation, JoAnne believes we should always focus on what the individual can do while incorporating the five domains-cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual into our activities. Seniors thrive when they have the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and experiences. It reduces their sense of loneliness and increases their self-esteem. JoAnne’s hope for the activities department is to have your loved ones connect with other seniors to improve their mental health through the feeling of fulfillment, comfort, and love. And to have social interactions that provide positive cognitive health and positive memories for their time here at Monmouth Crossing.
