JULY 2024 — Centrastate Healthcare System’s Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living has achieved the Dementia Capable Care Workforce Leader recognition from Dementia Care Specialists at Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
The Dementia Capable Care Workforce Leader (DCC-WL) recognition is awarded to organizations who are committed to creating a dementia capable workforce, using Dementia Capable Care training to prepare their staff with the knowledge and skills needed to make the world a better place for those living with dementia and their families. Monmouth Crossing achieved the recognition for the facility’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in dementia care that not only enhances the lives of the residents they serve but also sets a benchmark for others in the field.
“Memory care at Monmouth Crossing provides a caring, home-like environment with individual attention for residents with special needs, including dementia and other memory-related disorders,” said Heleyne Gladstein, Administrator, Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living. “We are proud to receive the DCC-WL recognition as a testament to our specially-trained and skilled team who provide compassionate care for our residents every day.” Monmouth Crossing is also a member of the Alzheimer’s New Jersey, reaffirming the facility’s commitment to best practices in dementia care.
